Hillary Omondi is one of the co-founders of Siaya Muungano Network. He plays the role of driving the organisation vision, mission and objectives through projects coordination. Hillary is a self –driven individual who believes in empowering his colleagues and community to drive their agenda. He has over 5 years’ experience in organisation development and management, project management, civic education, grass root advocacy, human rights advocacy, promoting citizen participation in oversight of public resources, social accountability and advocacy for women and youth voices. Prior to fully taking up the role of programs coordination at SIMUN, he worked with CIAG-Kenya in a Citizen watch for Good Governance Project for 3 years and one year with Tembea Youth Centre for Sustainable Development as a Community Resource Person in a Youth in Devolution Project.
Hillary holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (2nd Class Upper Division) from Pwani University.
